2008 Work Plan: 

A. Operate a Local Economic Development Organization Consisting of Business and Community Representation and Ensure Effective Governance and Accountability


A.1 - Maintain MAEDC’s status as a non-profit, tax exempt organization in good standing with the Montana Secretary of State.

A.2 - Complete an audit of the organization’s financial condition and compliance with application federal and state requirements for 2007 by June 1, 2008.

A.3 - Ensure that the membership of the Board of Directors is in compliance with the By-Laws in all respects, and especially terms, officers and meetings.

A.4 - Hold an annual meeting in February 2008 at which new directors and officers will be selected by the membership.

A.5 - Conduct a minimum of ten meetings of the Board of Directors, at which current financial statements, budget reports, and recommendations regarding specific action items will be presented.

A.6 - Ensure that personnel management procedures are conducted in accordance with the approval Employee Manual
